Track-Plus Features
The Track-Plus Rapid Exchange Catheter is a high pressure,low profile balloon catheter that is designed to reach and cross a stenosis with minimum effort.
The material used in the construction of the device are selected to enhance the performance of the product due to their unique composition and combination.
Track-Plus provides exceptional flexibility for navigating through tight lesions and tortuous vessels
Two Platinum or Iridium swaged markers are positioned on the inner lumen so that the outer edges give the exact location of the Balloon Barrel and provides low profile balloon wrap.
SPV Hypotube
The new SPV hypo-tube material provides improved pushability and kink resistance over the regular stainless steel material. SPV Improved hypotube kink resistance of 10% to 40% without compromise of track, push or torque and increasing the inside diameter of the hypotube. Refer SPV Hypotube datasheet for more details.
A. Tapered Tip
The tapered tip allow for low-profile crossability.
B. Balloon
The Balloon is a semi-complaint material that combines the required tensile strength with a predictable diameter, even after multiple inflations.
Two swaged markers are provided at 80 cm and 100 cm from the Distal tip
C. 2.6 Fr. Distal Shaft
The Inner lumen is produced using tri-layer material with HDPE inner and Nylon outer in order to minimize friction while providing the optimum stiffness to the catheter for excellent pushability and improved trackability.
The outer lumen is made from an elastomeric nylon that provides superior torque transmission and optimum stiffness while the inherent memory of the material will
transfer the compressive energy applied at the proximal hub to the balloon tip. All joints are welded, no adhesive is used in the manufacture of the distal assembly.
D. 2.2 Fr. Proximal Shaft
The stainless steel coated shaft gives maximum support at the transition to the dual lumen while the coating provides a low friction surface.
E. Strain Relief
The strain relief ensures firm control and maximum shaft support to avoid kinking.
F. Double Thread Hub for Secure Connection
The hub is ergonomically designed for easy handling.
